Building Character

For more than a century, Circle Ten Council, Scouting America has been preparing young people across North Texas and Southern Oklahoma to become confident leaders, engaged citizens, and people of strong character. Through adventure, service, leadership, and hands-on experiences, Scouts develop the values and life skills they need to succeed at home, in school, and throughout their lives.

Developing Leaders

Guided by the mission of Scouting America and the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law, Scouting helps young people grow into trustworthy, loyal, helpful, and courageous individuals who are prepared to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives. Every campout, service project, outdoor adventure, and leadership opportunity builds confidence, resilience, responsibility, and character that lasts a lifetime.

Strengthening Communities

Scouting is more than an activity: it’s a place where families grow together, friendships are formed, and young people discover who they are capable of becoming. Whether exploring the outdoors, serving their community, learning new skills, or leading others, every Scout is challenged to grow with purpose in a safe, welcoming environment where they can thrive.

Children grow up so fast. Give your child a valuable gift by joining Scouting. The time you invest in your child today will make a difference in the person he or she becomes tomorrow … Because Scouting works; Scouting matters; Scouting lasts …. a lifetime.
